Injection molding is considered to be one of the best and most efficient production methods. Since its inception, injection molding allowed millions of products made from plastic and rubber to be manufactured with high precision and within a short period of time. One can safely say that injection molding revolutionized the way mass production was carried out. Injection mold supplier, plastic products manufacturers, rubber products manufacturers Splendor Mold is a company that started operating 20 years ago, and since then we have always strives to ensure that injection molding processes are carried out as efficiently as possible, while guaranteeing high quality products. We are one of the best injection mold supplier out there today.
The process cycle of injection molding involves a number of steps which are carried out by using advanced machines and equipment. First of all there is the clamping stage whereby the mold to be used is secured in the clamping unit and attached to the injection molding machine. There may be variances in the clamping force required and in the dry cycle time of the machine. This is where the experience of our personnel is very important. Our company employs more than a hundred employees in fact.
The next step is the injection phase. As the name itself implies the raw material, that is the plastic or the rubber, is fed into the injection molding machine. The material will be melted by means of high heat and pressure. In the case of rubber more pressure is required. The molten material will thereby be injected into the mold. This is referred as the shot. The injection time will vary depending on the changing flow of the molten material, and how complex the process is going to be. The injection pressure and power will also vary. Now become more and more Like Injection mold supplier, plastic products manufacturers, rubber products manufacturers.
Next comes the cooling stage. The molten material will need to cool down and as this is done it will solidify into the required shape. Shrinkage may occur during cooling, ad cooling times will vary depending on what is being produced, in terms of size, complexity and other key issues. The final phase is the ejection, which will involve opening the mold so as to eject the cooled down part out of it. At times some post processing may be needed, such as trimming, and flashing. Most of the time there will also be regrinding of the the scrap material. This is in fact one of the main benefits of injection molding as there is minimal wastage.
